Overview: What You Need to Work with RDY2G

To work as an RDY2G Agent on the Arise® Platform, you’ll need:

  • A compatible computer (desktop or laptop that meets client specs)
  • Wired high-speed internet (no Wi-Fi only setups)
  • An approved USB headset and quiet workspace
  • The ability to work a minimum number of hours per week
  • Willingness to operate as an independent contractor (1099)

Computer Requirements (General Guidelines)

Client programs on the Arise® Platform each have their own specific tech requirements, but in general, you should plan on:

  • Desktop or laptop computer
    Modern processor capable of running multiple applications smoothly
    Sufficient RAM (aim for at least 8 GB or more)
    Enough free storage to handle software and updates
  • Supported operating system
    A current, supported version of Windows (most clients prefer this)
    Some clients may have stricter requirements; you’ll see exact specs inside the Arise® Platform
  • No Chromebooks / tablets / phones for servicing
    These are great for life, not for live client systems
    You’ll need a proper computer to log into the platform and tools

Internet Requirements

Reliable internet is non-negotiable. Plan for:

  • High-speed wired connection
    Ethernet cable from your router/modem to your computer
    Wi-Fi alone is not recommended and may be prohibited for some clients
  • Stable speeds
    Download and upload speeds that meet or exceed client minimums
    Low latency and stable connection during your scheduled hours
  • No hotspots or public Wi-Fi
    Hotspots, public networks, and shared/unsecured connections are not suitable for servicing due to stability and security concerns.
    RDY2G will provide an Internet & Audio Test Guide so you can test your connection before you commit to a program.

Audio & Headset Requirements

You’ll be the voice of the client, so clear audio matters.

  • USB headset with microphone
    Noise-cancelling microphone preferred
    Clear audio quality for both you and the customer
    Compatible with your computer and client systems
  • No Bluetooth-only headsets
    Wireless Bluetooth devices can be unstable and are often not allowed for servicing sessions.
  • Quiet environment
    Minimal background noise
    No TV, loud music, or conversations in the background during calls
    RDY2G maintains a recommended gear list you can use if you’re unsure what to buy.

Workspace & Environment Requirements

You’re working from home—but you still need a professional space.

  • Dedicated, quiet area
    A space where you can close a door or minimize household noise
    No frequent disruptions during your scheduled work time
  • Comfortable desk and chair
    You’ll be seated for extended periods, so comfort and posture matter
    Good lighting helps you stay alert and presentable on any video/verification calls
  • Secure environment
    Customer information must be kept private and secure
    No sharing your screen or systems with others in your home

Personal & Contract Requirements

Equipment is only half the picture. RDY2G also has personal and contractual requirements.

  • Location & eligibility
    You must live in a state that is not restricted by the Arise® Platform
    We will verify this during your application and onboarding
  • Minimum weekly hours
    You must agree to work a minimum number of hours per week (for example, 15 hours), as defined in your Statement of Work (SOW)
    You’ll schedule your time in blocks, but consistency is expected
  • Independent contractor status (1099)
    You are not an employee of RDY2G Solutions or Arise®
    You are responsible for your own taxes, expenses, and record-keeping
    You may not list RDY2G or Arise® as your employer on leases, loans, or government assistance
  • Professionalism & reliability
    Show up on time for your scheduled intervals
    Follow client guidelines and RDY2G policies
    Maintain strong communication if issues or emergencies arise

Platform & Security Requirements

Because you’ll be handling real customer data, there are extra security expectations.

  • Secure login practices
    Never share your login credentials with anyone
    Use strong passwords and keep them protected
  • Approved software only
    Use only client-approved tools and software during servicing
    Follow instructions about antivirus, firewalls, and security updates
  • Customer data protection
    No taking photos or screenshots of customer data
    No recording calls unless explicitly allowed by the client and platform policies
    RDY2G provides a Security & Privacy Policy for Agents that you must review and acknowledge.
