Support/FAQ
Q: Is RDY2G Solutions hiring employees or independent contractors?
A: RDY2G Solutions works with independent contractors (1099), not W-2 employees. You are self-employed and contract with RDY2G to service clients on the Platform. That means you’re responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.
Q: Do I need prior call center or customer service experience?
A: Experience helps, but it’s not required. Many agents start with no formal call center background. What matters most is a good attitude, strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow procedures.
Q: How flexible is the schedule?
A: Schedules are flexible, but not casual. Each client program has its own schedule rules, but most allow you to select your own time blocks. However, you must still meet the minimum weekly hours and schedule commitments outlined in your SOW and the client’s requirements.
Q: Is this full-time, part-time, or side income?
A: It can be any of the above. Some agents treat this as part-time or side income, while others build a full-time schedule across one or more programs. You control your availability, but real results come from consistent, committed hours.
Q: Can I list RDY2G or the platform as my employer on applications?
Q: No. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are self-employed. You should not list RDY2G Solutions or the platform as your employer on leases, loans, or government assistance applications. You can say you contract through RDY2G Solutions LLC using the Platform.
Q: Do I have to buy equipment from RDY2G?
A: No. You can get your equipment anywhere you like, as long as it meets the client’s requirements. RDY2G offers recommended tools & gear as a convenience, but purchasing through us is completely optional.
Q: What equipment do I need to get started?
A: You’ll typically need a reliable computer, high-speed wired internet, and an approved USB headset. Some clients may require additional equipment or specific operating systems. RDY2G provides an Equipment Checklist so you know exactly what you need before you go live.
Q: What does it cost to get started?
A: There may be costs related to equipment, certification, and your home setup. Some client programs have certification fees; some don’t. Any RDY2G support or platform fees will be clearly explained in your Statement of Work before you commit.
Q: How long does it take to start earning?
A: Timelines vary, but most agents can go from initial application to servicing in about 4–8 weeks, depending on how quickly they complete registration, onboarding, and client certification. RDY2G’s job is to help you move through each step efficiently.
Q: What kind of work will I be doing?
A: Most client programs involve customer service, sales support, or technical support via phone, chat, or both. You might help customers with account questions, reservations, billing, troubleshooting, or general support—depending on the client you choose.
Q: Do I get to choose which client program I work for?
A: Yes. Inside the Arise® Platform, you’ll see Available Programs and can decide which ones to pursue. RDY2G helps you understand the differences—like schedule, pay structure, call type, and certification requirements—so you can choose what fits your life best.
Q: How does training/certification work?
A: Each client offers its own certification course through the Arise® Platform. You’ll attend live or self-paced online classes, learn their systems and scripts, and complete assessments. You must pass certification before you can start taking live calls and earning.
Q: What happens if I miss a shift or don’t meet my hours?
A: Attendance is important. Each client and RDY2G have policies around missed intervals, cancellations, and minimum hours. Frequent no-shows or not meeting your commitments can lead to loss of opportunities or termination of your contract. We give you these policies up front in our documents.
Q: How often will I be paid?
A: Pay schedules can vary, but RDY2G generally pays on a regular cadence, such as every two weeks, as outlined in your Statement of Work. You’ll complete a Direct Deposit form so payments go straight to your bank account.
Q: What support does RDY2G provide?
RDY2G offers onboarding support. We help with registration, linking to our IBO, understanding your SOW, and navigating training and performance expectations
Q: How do I get help if I’m stuck or confused?
A: You can reach out via our support channels (email and/or scheduled calls). We encourage agents to ask questions early instead of staying stuck. Our goal is to provide real help, not leave you guessing.
